This song is (unfortunately) inspired by the 2020 California wildfires. I wrote it from the perspective of a rather new couple who are on one of their first few dates together. I'm thinkin like "drove up to watch the sunset on a cliff" kind of date here. Real romantic stuff.

They sit side by side and talk about all the incredible experiences they could have shared together in their lifetime…if the world below them wasn't burning before their eyes (they totally die).

It is a saddening reality to acknowledge, but we’re killing our planet and are all gonna die. So I guess, go do shit while you can!
